A tongue-and-groove paneled hanging area with drawers and benches provides practical storage for boots and coats, while tall cupboards house cleaning essentials, towels, and a wine cooler.
A classic butler sink sits opposite, complemented by open shelving to display the client’s antique collections. Farrow & Ball’s French Gray enhances the space with its timeless, shifting tones, while textured grained cabinetry and Hudson Pull Handles from Hendel & Hendel add depth and elegance.
The result is a beautifully considered space that is both practical and characterful, honoring the history of the property while catering to modern-day living.
It's not a Boot Room, a Butler's Pantry nor a Laundry or Plant Room. It's all four. And it's a room that is a connecting walk-way from a Grade II listed house to a newly built Coach House - so, a demanding design brief, majestically achieved by Chris and Phoebe!
