The clients wanted to extend their kitchen space with a media wall, creating a relaxed area where they could watch TV while still feeling connected to the kitchen, designed for both comfort and togetherness.
Speak To Our DesignersThe brief for this space was to create a seamless connection between the kitchen and living area, allowing the television to be enjoyed from the kitchen – whether cooking, entertaining, or simply relaxing in the adjoining seating zone. To ensure a sense of cohesion, the slatted oak detailing from the kitchen was carried through to the backing of the media unit, adding both texture and visual interest. Soft, integrated lighting highlights these features while offering opportunities to style the space with decorative elements. A simplistic door design, mirroring the kitchen cabinetry but finished in light oak, helps to subtly lift and warm the area, creating a harmonious flow throughout the open-plan room.
