Speak To Our Kitchen DesignersSet within the historic grounds of Firbeck Hall, this project began with a brief to create a modern, sophisticated kitchen that would sit effortlessly within its grand 16th-century surroundings. The goal was to achieve a balance of contemporary elegance and inviting warmth, pairing rich, dark finishes with natural oak accents, subtle lighting, and luxurious materials.
Smooth simplistic slab doors form a clean architectural backdrop, beautifully elevated by the striking Black Beauty worktop, its mesmerising veining adding depth and drama to the design. Functionality was central to the brief, from the professional-grade Gaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances to the bespoke breakfast pantry and feature peninsula that combines open shelving, ambient lighting, and integrated seating, creating a social focal point that’s as practical as it is beautiful.
The result is a space that feels both refined and comfortable, perfectly reflecting the timeless character and enduring beauty of Firbeck Hall.
